This is a song I made from scratch. I wrote, recorded, performed, produced, and mastered it. The song also includes live recordings from Emma Clarke, Aidan Cangany, Elijah Hudson, Connor May, and Matt Hopkins.
Even though I am open to working on other genres of music, I know I would really like to work on hip-hop. So when listened to "My Own" by Little Chicago's Finest, I knew it would be a good fit for me to remix.
This is the song I helped create and produce in my third portfolio class. I created it alongside Dennis Johnson who was also in my class and my close friend Andrew Smith.
Here we were tasked with creating our own instrumental work in Logic. It was our first journey into Logic and had a number of requirements like our own synthesized sounds and some samples. The rest was up to us individually on how we would proceed with our tracks.
Here is a list of some of my original beats that I have made in my spare time. The list does tend to change since some do actually end up getting used. Anything you are able to listen to here are the ones that are currently not being used.
