Audio & Sound Design
Here I have showcased a few of my projects for sounds linear and non-linear sound design. Below are some videos and both film and video games.
Landyn's First Birthday
A video that commemorates this little one's first birthday party. The video is mostly set to the music of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." The music and the sounds were made using Pro Tools. The video and animations was created using Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Blacksmith Demo Reel
In the demo reel above I designed all the sounds used. I created the sounds for the title card, in the beginning, using mostly synthesizer sounds that I then synched to various stars flying by the viewer and panned the sounds accordingly. For the blacksmith cinematic, I edited and mixed the sounds so that they would enhance the player's experience with the game. Then I designed and implemented the non-linear sounds into the gameplay portion. I created and mixed many of the sounds by layering many different sounds together to create something unique for the game.
Katie's Kitchen
Above is a commercial that I helped create for a local catering business. My main role was mixing the vocals against the background music and sound effects. I did all of my mixing using Pro Tools.
OuterBox Images
This is a commercial I made for my friend's photography and graphic design business. I compiled the images together in iMovie and then put an old drum cadence into Pro Tools using Virtual Drumline instruments. I then lined everything up so that the images would sync up well with the music.
Enivornmental Demo Reel
Here I created and designed many of the sounds for the environment. These sounds include but are not limited to engine noises, doors opening and closing, fire torches, and ghostly sounds.
Process Video
This video shows how I went through and made many of the sounds for the Sci-Fi Facility. It also isolates these sounds in the environment so you can hear them clearly before putting them all together.
Dresden
Here we were given the beginning of a short film made by what seems to be prior students at Full Sail. I was tasked with utilizing existing audio from the initial film shoot and then creating the audio for everything else. This includes re-recording dialogue.
